ROTAMB drum-wheels were designed to avoid physical contact between the drum and the user. This reduces the risks of:

* CUTS: using the drum-wheel avoids users' hands being cut or sliced as a result of contact with sharp metal edges normally found on drum lids.
* CRUSHING: as the wheel component of the drum-wheel is positioned above the superior part of the drum itself when the device is locked in place, it avoids the possibility of users' fingers or hands getting caught and crushed between two drums.
* SPILLAGE: as the drum-wheel is firmly fixed to the drum and is ergonometrically comfortable, the possibility of it falling and spilling its contents is reduced.
* CONTACT WITH TOXIC SUBSTANCES: using the drum-wheel avoids all physical contact with the drum and reduces the possibility of users coming into contact with potentially toxic substances.
